Linux Support for Marvell's GT-64260 System Controller
The GT-64260 Discovery is Marvell's
high performance
system controller for PowerPC based systems. This controller supports both the
60x and MPX CPU busses, and contains a wealth of integrated features including
three ethernet controllers, two 64-bit PCI busses, a special purpose device bus, and two multi-purpose
serial controllers (MPSC). Mission Critical Linux and Marvell collaborated on
support for the GT-64260 and the evaluation platform.
The current kit includes support for booting a full multi-user GNU/Linux system
on a Marvell EVB-64260 evaluation board. We provide a kernel along with a basic root file system
based on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution that
can be NFS mounted for evaluation of the Linux operating system on the Discovery
platform.
